Thumbs down Is it me or does DOlphin support suck?

I've had DOlphin installed for a number of weeks now and posted a few bug issues on this site as well as Expertzzz (as a paid contributor). In both cases community support was slow coming and close to non existant (except from two helpful guys one of whom I bought a mod from Very dissapointed and a very bad start.

Same happened to me. Except I also bought a MOD and didn't get it OR my money back. I'm pretty mad at expertzzz right now.

Yeah thier site sucks aswell, I cant believe you cant search through mods. and no one really gets back to you on the forums.

    Default Agreed

I know the pains of open source and usually am very tolerant because I really appreciate open source contributions, Dolphin is the first project that boasts excellent support through expertzzz but it is quite the opposite.

They should just come out and say support is not a huge priority at this time just like some of the smaller projects do. Then you know you are on your own!.

I just have to add that this is a common theme in their forums. Had you searched you would have seen the large numbers of people saying exactly the same thing. That sent up red flags for me when I was considering buying something there. Not to mention their crappy forum software is about the worse thing since Dan Quayle.

Actually, we (ModMySite) do not really visit the Expertzzz forums much... and we only have one mod listed there (Private Photos for Dolphin 6.0.x).

At some point in the future - we may spend more time on Expertzzz - but we have our hands full here on ModMySite.

As for ModMySite - both post responses in the forum, and email messages - this is all improving now that we converted over to using Kayako support suite.
