Thread: Maddeningly Slow Performance

I have the 6.03 Clean installed and now in use by members. The problem is now that are some members, photos, etc. the site has slowed to a crawl. Lot's of complaining by members and I, myself, even try to stay away as much as possible from my own site because of the frustration of the delay between page loads. Is there something that can be done, does this have something to do with the Boonex checking for license business? I was running a nulled version of the dolphin 5.0 series prior and didn't have the delay.

What kind of hosting do you have? Is it substandard?

Is the server loaded? Do you have SSH access so you can run the "top" command?

What are your ping times? Do 1000 pings to see if there are any lost packets.

start / run / cmd / ping yoursitename.com -n 1000

The license is only checked at admin login...and in Clean 6.0.3, this has not been disabled (to comply with the CC-BY license).

I don't think it is a software issue... but a server issue... but who knows, no way to know without checking.
