We have a work around for this - and have been using it on many sites - using gmail SMTP. It is $150 installed and tested on your Dolphin site and is transparent to your users.
Not sure yet if we will add it to CLEAN as a standard feature or not.
Can also install it in other scripts other than Dolphin if needed.

So you're saying that's a way around Hotmail's iron hand? Can you give me the URL of a Dolphin site that it's installed on, so I can see it action?
If it works then I'm interested in getting details on how to fix the issue, which is costing us signups and traffic in a big way. Do I get a discount if I do the install myself?

Yes - it is working well. Your outbound mail (either for all destinations or just to a set list, like hotmail) is routed through gmail smtp.
We don't give out customer URLs... it's a long standing policy. Sorry.
As for the install - we install all our scripts - we don't offer them for download. With so many versions / releases / patches / modifications of Dolphin and aeDating out there - there is no way to easily maintain a unified install document.

Thanks, that information is very interesting. I suppose it had to happen. I mean you have to pay the phone company to not include your number in their book after all.
