Yes - we have mods that force photo upload (force is a loose term) on the join form.

I did a bit of looking at some code this week, and after having installed a few mods that create popups on the members page when they receive new messages and site mail, I began to consider doing the same thing for members who have not yet uploaded a profile picture. The coding looks to be relatively simple for someone who knows what they are doing, as the member.php file looks to see if there is a profile pic for a member when they sign on, and if not, it returns a value of "none" and then loads a pic based upon a $sexPic variable depending upon the sex of the member. By utilizing the "none" return, it seemed quite possible that an if/else and elseif statement could ALSO call a popup. I took this idea to a friend, mscott, and he seemed to think it was a fairly simple process to do. He will be working on this over the weekend hopefully, and this mod SHOULD do the following:

When a member without a profile pic logs on and is directed to their member page, a small popup will appear asking the member to consider uploading a profile picture. I've asked mscott to see if we can add a random variable to this so that rather than EVERY time a member logs on they are hit with this popup, it will randomly (or on a particular schedule) pop up to remind them. I like the idea of it occurring once every week or so, just to keep it in front of them occassionally without seeming to be TOO intrusive. Maybe we'll create some variable that you can change so that you decide how often the popup will appear, every time, randomly, once a day, once a week, etc.

Anyway, once this mod is done and tested, it will most likely be available for download from the expertzzz site. I'll provide a link to it and let you know when it's available.

I think BIGALL is no longer using Dolphin.

Anyways, such an photo upload mod can be done for any version of Dolphin.
