Thread: Strange Admin Page problem..

Background: Changed several member menu items, inserted custom links.

When I attempted to add a new Menu Item on the Main Navigation Builder, It added the new block fine. Same for my Account Builder Page. Closed the admin menu and navigated back to my site to admire my new work. NO new menu items showing up. Went BACK to my Admin Builders Menu, attempted to open Navigation Builder, just sits & spins. The page never loads. Same happens with my Account Builder Page.

I know that the glitch must be associated with a problem of the Menu Builders never inserting or updating the pages in question, since the new menu items never appeared on them. So I have to "assume" (hate doing that) that now the new menu item blocks are resident in the builder pages, but since they cannot connect to an actual page they must be preventing the Builder PAges from loading?

Does anyone know which actual php/css files these menu builders actually reference, or which pages in the actual admin files the Navigation and Account pages are so that I can manually remove the new blocks I created in hopes that they will once again load so that I can figure out what's going on?

I've discovered part of the problem. Evidently, the database is being updated with the new table files, but the php code on the referenced page isn't getting updated (I THINK). By removing the entries in the database itself for the referenced table(s), I was able to once again open the Builder pages in Admin. I'll work on this some more and see if I can determine WHY the pages themselves are not getting the proper references updated.
