Thread: images.inc.php error

Hi,

In the classifieds section, when I try to upload a picture (.jpg 64kb) I get the following error code:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 16777216 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3200 bytes) in /home/forenter/public_html/******.***/inc/images.inc.php on line 134

I looked at line 134.... any ideas?

Yes - you need to increase the php memory limit in php.ini

Hi, I actually posted this elswere in the forum since I dont know if it applies only with 6.04 ...

I have 6.04 Clean2 and cannot upload pictures larger than 1600*1200 ... It waits..and then white screen no error message.

Doesn`t anyone else have this problem?

1600*1200 is not enough as a resolution since "new" digital cams default to a huge resolution and regular users upload directly...


I`ve already modified my max upload limit and time... That`s fine, I get the pic in the directory but it does not resize?

I have not heard anyone reporting this problem - but it does not mean it does not exist.

For kicks and giggles, if you have ImageMagick turned on, turn it off, and try GD, or the reverse... in the Dolphin admin panel - and retest.

It actually worked!! Thanks!

I had "Use GD library for image processing" checked "ON" and I turned it "OFF".

I tested with a 3200*2500 dpi picture and it worked!!
