But I do know it works with the adult template.

Any solutions yet for us who don't know the code yet?

you will have to do a compare for missing lines, espacially in page_1.html, _header.html of the template root, and see if ray_chat.css is in the css file - just relpace any missing lines in the code - for the css - just copy it from a template directory that is working.

look specifically for the lines I put in the previous post.

I have changed the template as you suggested, and the link work for IM this user etc., however now I have an over all problem with Ray Presence and IM. IM getting a connection to server error. It worked untill yesterday when I tried re-installing Ray Pro again.And even when it worked it took ages to open and connect. I think all in all running the Ray Media Server and the Ray IM and Chat should be much more easy to install and setup. Either the Ray package 2.3 I received from Boonex has few missing lines explaining the installation process and overall integration into dolphin. I am sitting on it over two weeks and still havn't got a perfect running dolphin system.

Should I just leave it, and try a different system. I don't want my future users to suffer from a faulted system they can't realy use properly.

Would appriciate your advice.

At this point; not sure what you can do ! Maybe check the forums on the supplier for other answers; or use a different template. Your problem definitely resides in the template - I would go over a compare with a fine tooth comb, lol

No fix for this was posted here... was there ever a fix posted on BoonEx's site?

Assuming it is this "php with xml support, sablot", or lack of - causing this....

This is a very lame move by BoonEx to require these modules - as many people (mostly those on shared servers) can not enable these modules.

Or was it something else?

A concise update would be nice from someone affected or not affected.

(reason I ask - someone in a PM is asking me about this issue)

I have not fixed the bug you mentioned - I posted a message in the thread asking if anyone has - or if there was a fix posted on BoonEx.

Other than that - we can fix for you if you would like us too. But - maybe the problem (see the thread) is you are on shared hosting without the proper apache/php module support. You should create a phpinfo.php file and confirm that.

I tested Ray on 5.6.002 - also previous versions and am able to communicate from different browsers. Didnt have to do anything extra; bit Ray was included and not added on later. I use the tmpl_adl.

Boonex only states that the files should be present 'in all pages'.

My server used to have no support for php xml sablot etc; I migrated to a new one - I do know that the forum needs it for sure. Ray did not work on the old server - but moving to the new server killed 2 birds with one stone - all works. I could not verify if the cause was the lack of the php xml sablot for Ray not working.
