Hi.
In Dolphin 5.6.0002 there's a file called profile_photos.php, with the new media management system in this version, it seems to me that this file is not necessary anymore. It was used to upload profile pictures in previous versions.
Is this profile_photos.php used/necessary?

I do not believe so, though I wouldn't suggest just straight deleting the file. You should probably rename it first and test everything on your site. Once you are satisfied that it isn't causing problems then you delete it. And as always back up everything before messing around.
