Thread: Private Photo Bug 4.1 IQ 0004 patch

AEDating 4.1 IQ 0004 patch -- bug with Private Photos. After a user checks "private photo", the admin cannot view the photo without password to approve it. One of our users ticked the checkbox without makiing a password for viewing private photos and when we tried to review the photo, we couldn't because it asked us for a password. I had to login with the user's name and password and remove the "private photo" tick from the checkbox because I couldn't do it from the admin. Has this happened to anyone else? And is there a fix for this?

There is a way around it. When you are approving the profile at the very top you will have a section called photos. You can click on view photos (on top of the browse button) and voila problem no longer there. I still think it is burdensome, somebody should write a mod so all the icons appear on the approval page.

Yah, thanks... I actually figured that out myself. I still left the post on here though because in my opinion, it is still a bug. When accessing the admin panel, there should be NO NEED at all for the admin to enter any kind of password to access a clients profile, guestbook, photos, etc. This is a permissions problem -- so I would classify this as a bug.

I'm actually having a problem with my members viewing private photos at all. When you enter in the password, the password box just refreshes.

I have Dolphin 5.2 and have not been able to get private photos to work for my members. Anyone found a resolution or is there something as admin I have done wrong ?

I'm an Idiot. I never set a private photo pasword So as you can imagine it wouldn't work. None of the other members have any private photos yet but I tried it since someone asked me about it and since I did not set a password it did not work. I asked in Boonex forum but got no reply on what my problem may be. " Thank You ! " Very , very .... Much !
