If you have "promotion" enabled, whereby NEW members are automatically credited with 3 (or whatever you set it to) free days subscription on joining your site and a current subscribing member changes their email address they loose their subscription (ie.: they loose 30 days GOLD) and their account is reset to 3 days promotional subscription.
