Hello,

The phpMyChat mod will not work on aedating IQ
You can not upload the mod to the database.

Does someone have a working phpMyChat mod on IQ

AEdating support says they are not supporting phpMyChat any longer. This is a legacy product that has had no active development on it since mid-2001. Be hard to imagine that it would not be full of security issues as has been noted in a duplicate post of this issue here in the public forum.

I have contacted them (aedating) and the said:

"We are working with phpMyChat module right now. You need to wait, while we wouldn't finish the process of its creation."

The phpMyChat is developed again.

After to many years without anything done on phpMyChat, I\’ve now found some time to begin work on a new release, which will hopefully include some of Bob\’s great enhancements.

There are already some new things:

* the files have no the .php extension instead of the .php3 one
* the logo frame in the bottom right now link to this site instead of phpHeaven
* when the chat is not yet configured, a friendly message says it, instead of an ugly technical error message

That is very weird! I got a message from them today telling me that it was unsupported... the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Well that is hopeful news anyway if they have started development again ... Thanks for the update. very cool!
