Thread: hotmail and msn addresses

Anyone knows how to block members from giving their hotmail and msn addresses in messages and IM....it's killing my chat and videochat...everyone is running away. Please Advice!!

New to the CLEAN forums, so apologies if i drag too many postings up.

I am looing into this. On a previous members site I ran we had a function that would strip out things like:

hotmail
yahoo
.com
.co.uk

etc etc. You could just add strings that you want to remove from postings to a DB table.

During any Insert, you would run the text through this function first.

In flashchat from tufat is a badwords.php..that works perfectly
