But making progress.

This is an alpha version, so language strings, a lot of the features and so forth are non-functional. Trying to add modules is problematic, numerous ones do not install from the admin panel or call files that don't exist in this version. I'll be playing with this as I've decided to finally make the move to upgrade my site (GLAD I didn't go with any of the 6.1 versions now). It may help those of you considering upgrading to this version to play with the admin features as a lot has changed there.

I'm finally taking the plunge. I'm just getting comfortable with 6.1.4...

but I'm downloading 7 now, and start a test site.
So, I'll report back soon.

The Beta release is much improved all the way around. I'm still getting file permission errors from BXDolTemplate.inc or something when in the admin panel, and the language files are not yet complete, but looking much better. Many more aps, modules and widgets are now working. As per their info, it's not yet complete by a long way, but it seems to be making progress towards completion.

If you'd like to see it working with all RMS features enabled, then drop by and check it out. This is a testing site, so nothing will be retained if you want to sign up and test the incorporated features which are working so far on a non-boonex site.

There are going to be a very large number of bug fixes and changes to Beta 2.

Andrew made a post saying that it should be released tomorrow - barring any major unforeseen bugs.

It's going to be a much better experience & a HUGE step towards RC status.

I have been reading the comments over at Boonex. They are saying that they will have "Migration tools" but not an upgrade script and that some data, such as gallery photos, will not be able to be imported....

I hope this is not the case...

I am dropping Dolphin for my main site due to their disregard for the CCBILL community. They are forcing their users to use Paypal or later on I suspect, buy the CCBILL plugin which was once free.

Does Modmysite have any plans to build a plugin for low cost?

We can (and have) integrate ANY (sane) payment processor into Dolphin.

Our rate for a standard integration is $525.

I am not sure if this is "low cost" or not, but this is our going rate for the standard integration of a payment processor.
