Default Please help me make a business decision regarding Dolphin 7.

Reading all the negative posts regarding bugs, lack of support, problems, etc. regarding Dolphin 7 is quite disheartening and makes me wonder if I should continue or move a different direction.

The good news is I haven't launched my site yet. However, what I'm worried about is once my site grows with membership 10,000+ I want to keep them happy and not worry about bugs and fixes as well as lack of support.

So I'm wondering should I continue investing in development with my Dolphin 7 site? or should I move in a different direction while membership is is low right now(perhaps Joomla, or another suggestion)? My site will rely heavily on photos, videos, and music and will be providing news, info on a daily/weekly basis.

Thinking of years of providing my site for membership, please help me make a business decision. Thank you and much appreciation for any feedback!

You had me on neutral until you mentioned media. Dolphin is the most horrid media platform Ive ever seen.

Ive dedicated time to just about every platform out there, and would rate Dolphin at the bottom- even the others basically have drop in media support without issues. Despite having a solution for myself, I still run all the others on development servers, including Dolphin. (Mainly to tear apart encoding, similar to the clean projects here but not for the same reasons)

On a final note, you are wise to be questioning this ahead of time. I feel sorry for the people silly enough to go by the Boonex site itself and rely on feedback there, especially since its forums are slowly being turned into a ass-kiss fest populated by lemmings.

I have hope for the clean/dolphin projects being worked on here, but my platform of choice is Joomla. I havent had a single headache since I made that decision.
