Thread: help with colours

i would like to change white colour to green and headings white anyone can explain me what lines do i need edit in css or anyone can send me css file thx.

You'll need to edit the general.css file located in templates/base/css/general.css

After opening the file, search for "div.sys_main_logo" and a few lines below it is your background-color. That's to change the header/logo area color. As for white to green, I have no clue which section you're talking about. Search the general.css file for #ffffff or #fff or "white" and find the section you want to change from white to green. Then paste the new hex color n you want.

I highly suggest shutting off cache in admin panel before working on design, otherwise it may not show up on refresh. I'd say just clear cache completely after, but it ruined my site and had to reinstall when I tried that.

to add to what fapbook said you can also download firebug for firefox and it will help you locate the exact area of the css file that you want to edit

to change the most colour of the site just open the common.css and change the body colour to what ever it is you need for green some are #339900 or #33ff00 that sort of thing will change the whole side panels to green.
