Well - we are about to start a "re-tool" here at MOD - checking all current mods, making some changes to the mod site, and finishing up some old work.... and this is not expected to be done until after the 10th of July.

So the timeframe is sometime after that.

Wordpress is cool - but it has some problems - one being that each blog currently requires a seperate database, and a seperate file system on the disk.

This is not really good for a site like aeDating that would have many users.... but since Wordpress is cool - it may be worth it to see if these problems could be overcome.

Well WorPress sounds good, you should check this out http://mu.wordpress.org/ this is the multi user version of it but still in development.

i have had very good experience with b2evolution. it supports multiple users and blogs from one install (important for integrating with aeDating) and its internationalization is excellent.

any news on this as in a mod for members with older versions like 3.3
is it possible to add the aedating v4.0 blog to a older version

i dont wanna update because have a very big modded site

Have you checked into http://www.sideblog.com/? This might be easier to incorporate into ae than WordPress.

Hi all,

interesting read through the blog discussion - one person liked the www.alt.com blog- which looked good with the search action attached. It worked well, tried few key words and it came up with the blogs (oh the site is billed as World's Largest BDSM & Alternative Lifestyle Personals - so contents is provocative people)

Any one integrated this functionality of search field for their blogs and or coming up with something soon?
