Anyone? I am told this module doesn't and won't work. Has anyone gotten it to integrate?
Hi,
We have integrated vBulletin into Dolphin... if you need help with this - open a ticket and we can go fro there.
Also, when you post tickets, you should not just say "Dolphin 6", but include the full version and patch number... like "Dolphin 6.1.0" or "Dolphin 6.0.5", for example.

Hi Smoge,
Any updates on this? I submitted a ticket as well as an email as you suggested, and have not heard anything back. I would appreciate your help on this. Thanks.
Opened a ticket, emailed, still nothing. Smoge can you please contact me or let me know of the status of this?
module synchronize and works fine only if you have 'profiles' table empty (no users at all in dolphin database).
i've successfully integrate 10000 current users of vbulletin in dolphin.
now i have some troubles with synchronizing when user change his password.
'login' and 'forgot password' works after editing password encoding function code in member.php, forgot.php.
1. Merge VBulletin and Dolphin databases. To avoid collisions, i've made "vb_" prefix to all vbulletin tables.
2. Upload all vbulletin files in /forum subdirectory. Make changes (path to forum, database prefs) in vbulletin configuration file in /forum/includes/config.inc
2. Install vbull.aemod through dolphin admin panel. If your forum is in /forum subdir you dont need to configure vbull module.
3. Truncate 'profiles' table using your database manager. Caution! It will erase all users from your dolphin site. Only admin account still live.
4. Push "refresh" button in dolphin admin panel. If you have error at this step, check: a) php error log file. vbull module wont work if you have any error (warning, fatal error) exept notices; next steps you need to correct that errors b) some vbulletin profiles maybe incorrect, try to delete user account whose nickname you see in error message. Backup vbulletin 'user' table before![]()
Thanks for the post, Ants!
