PHPBB Login doesnt Really work

So whats the deal should i send users to

mysite.com/aemodule.php?ModuleType=forum

or

mysite.com/aemodule.php?ModuleType=phpbb

The later seems to work better but when i got to the forum it seems as though the cookie is not set even though it looks as if the module wrote me into the database as being logged in. Is there anyway to have it set the cookie?

I'm gonna mess around with the below. To see if i can get that to work or maybe just try my own solution.

This is a re-occurring problem - and can be affected by several things.

I am sorry to say, I don't have any great ideas for you unless I look at your particular installation since any of several factors can influence this working correctly or not.

I think i may have a fix... I ran this Mod and everything is fine now!

I don't think that is the problem most people have... but I am happy it worked in your case.

PHPBB saves this info in the database - so when you change/move the location of the script / or if the values are mis-detected in an install - this can make phpBB crazy..... its one of the few scripts thats saves these values in the database instead of in a settings.php file (or similar file).
