    Default phpbb in main index page of site

    hello

    i have clean install of dolphin 5.5
    I want one link at the front page of my site "PERZON FORUMS" WHICH SHOULD TAKE THE CUSTOMER TO THE LOCATION WHERE I HAVE INSTALLED THE PHP FILE LIKE

    "www.perzon.com/phpbb/index.html" -->> i have not installed phpbb till now


    Any body knows how to do that....

    You could add additional top menu items... but it is a bit of work.

    You may want to do it the "easy way" and edit the function function TopMenuItems() in menu_design.php in your templates/temp_XXX/scripts directory and use one of the ones there you perhaps dont want, and replace it with your forum link.

    Also - normally you would NOT call phpbb's index.php directly - you would call the aemodule.php code - to log the user into phpBB.

    Default i lost my site

    hi dear

    I am completely out on this one ...... i installed a phpbb forum through my admin panel of my hosting company into a folder called "peoples" in my site www.perzon.com and doing that I lost my site www.perzon.com ( its giving an internal server error 500) as well as my phpbb forum....( same error internal server 500)

    I took some steps to rectify that....

    I have deleted phpbb forum from my site and doing that I belived that i have corrected my "mistake " but i could not get my site back......... its still shows the same error...

    Please help

    Check you server and see if you have any .htaccess files uploaded to the directory you are trying to access. If they are there and contain options directives or php_flags they can prevent you from accessing the site giving you the internal server error 500 if you see
    options-directive or php_flags simply comment them out by placing # at the beginning of each line. This was the problem and the fix for me.
