* Bandwidth (Transfer Gigabytes)

We have a large amount of bandwidth available to our servers. So much, that in most cases, we do not care how much bandwidth you use on your account.

In addition, we do not use the "95%" for tracking bandwidth usage. We only care about the total bandwidth (in and out) that you use during the month.

* Content Delivery Network

With 19 nodes around the world, our Content Delivery Network (CDN) can deliver media and other content to your users via the fastest means possible.

The media is served, not from your hosting account (our servers), but from a network of geographicaly placed nodes around the world, resulting in the best possible load times for your media content.

If you have a particular file you need posted to our CDN, we are happy to provide this to you. If you need a large amount of files, or dynamic ones, posted to our CDN, please contact us for more information.

* Operating System

We run 64-bit CentOS 5.x on all our servers, for maximum performance, security, and stability.

* Server Hardware

Based on components from Intel , SuperMicro, and Seagate, our server hardware is reliable and fast.

All of our servers are multi-processor quad-core systems, with a minimum of 16GB of RAM.

* Server Configuration

Our servers are optimized. All processes have been optimized by our staff for speed and relaibilty, including mySQL, Apache, PHP, Exim (mail), and so on.

* IP Addresses

Each server has multiple IP blocks, and each domain on the server that is production and/or sends mail, has its own dedicated IP address.

* reverseDNS / Domain_Key / SPF Records

Sending email is important for any production domain. Each production domain on its own IP has individual reverseDNS, Domain_Keys, and SPF Records to maximize mail sending functions.

* Vulnerability Scans

We perform periodic vulnerability scans on our servers to verify our server security levels. Vulnerability scans identify weaknesses in server configurations that could be utilized for an attack.

Proactive performance of these scans is another way we protect your hosting environment.

* Intrusion Protection and Assessment (IDS)

Using 3Com/Tipping Point, our servers have advanced intrusion protection. Common exploits such as Command injection, Cross-site Scripting, SQL injection, and so on are stopped before ever reaching our server ports.

* Ultra Fast Server Disc Drives

Our production servers use SA-SCSI hard drives with a 3.0Gb/s interface, 16MB of cache, and rotation speed of 15,000RPMs. SA-SCSI drives high performance speed and reliability are best suited for database, streaming media, and mission critical servers.

All of our servers are protected with RAID against disc failure. All servers are RAID 10, the fastest and most robust (safe) RAID available.

We use Adaptec Model 3405 RAID controllers with a built in BBU for maximum data security.

* Two Times A Day Backups With Retention

Each account on our servers is backed up, completely, 2 times a day. The backups are sent off the server, to one of our dedicated backup servers, for increased security.

In addition to the most recent backup, we also retain previous backups for minimum 48 hours, resulting a minimum of 72 hours of backup history.
